Northern Macedonia enters parliament (Updated)

ITN requested a closed hearing of Foreign Minister Teodora Ganchovska

The PP proposed that the meeting be open

The topic of Northern Macedonia and Bulgaria’s veto on the start of its talks with the EU will be discussed by parliament today, as 24 Chasa predicts the day before.

The item was included extraordinarily in the program at the insistence of “There are such people”.

117 deputies were “for” – from GERB, MRF, ITN and “Vazrazhdane”. 108 were “against” and 5 “abstained” and they are 1 from the PP, 1 from the BSP and 3 from the DB.

The request of ITN is to hear the Minister of Foreign Affairs Teodora Genchovska about the letters she has on the topic of Northern Macedonia and whether the Prime Minister Kiril Petkov has made secret agreements. The meeting will be closed, as proposed by the ITN.

However, inside “We continue the change” they suggested that the meeting be open and this was voted on. Surprisingly, most MPs left the plenary hall and then returned. It turned out that there was a dispute inside whether they had voted to open Genchovska’s hearing.

We want all citizens to hear what the Foreign Minister has to say on the topic of Northern Macedonia, said the head of the PP group Andrei Gyurov.
