HARBIN, Jan. 13 (Xinhua) – Authorities in Suihua City, northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province, on Tuesday announced a series of measures to curb the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic to the new cases.
As of Tuesday 3:00 p.m., all entrances and exits to Suihua City are closed. With the exception of an emergency road, all roads to villages and districts administered by Suihua have been closed, according to the municipal COVID-19 Prevention and Control Center.
No passengers at Suihua are allowed to board the outgoing trains. Passengers who arrive without a negative nucleic acid test dating back less than 72 hours are not allowed to enter the city.
All buses and coaches have ceased to circulate in the city. All residential complexes, towns and villages are now under closed management.
On Monday, Wangkui District of Suihua City reported one confirmed case of COVID-19 and 36 asymptomatic cases.
