North Sumatra optimizes the movement of 1 house 1 jumantik to prevent dengue

North Sumatra (ANTARA) – The North Sumatra Provincial Health Bureau calls upon all elements of society to optimize the Jumantik 1 House 1 (G1R1J) movement to anticipate the spread of the dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) epidemic.

Because according to him, in a tropical climate, especially when entering the rainy season in this period, the environmental conditions favor the reproduction of mosquitoes.

His party continues to make various efforts to prevent and control DHF by leading the epidemiological analysis of the rise in dengue cases in every district and city.

“In addition, sponsoring the local government has indicated an increase in dengue cases,” he said.

The North Sumatra Health Office noted that the number of dengue cases in the area from January to September 2022 reached 5,270 sufferers.

“A total of 24 people among them died,” he said.
