A bakery with a drive-in counter is coming to the Styrum market center in Mülheim an der Ruhr. The concept has already established itself in other cities in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Mülheim an der Ruhr – Visitors to the Styrum market center in Mülheim (NRW) can look forward to a special bakery experience in the future, as the city’s first drive-in bakery is currently being built there. In the future, customers who are in a hurry will be able to get their rolls from the Horsthemke bakery receive directly from the car window.
It is not yet clear when the drive-in in Mülheim an der Ruhr will open, said a Horsthemke spokesman when asked by wa.de. For the Horsthemke family business, which operates over 100 bakery branches in North Rhine-Westphalia, this is the second branch with a drive-thru – another is in Oberhausen.
The basic concept seems to be well received, as drive-in bakeries have now become established in many North Rhine-Westphalia cities.
