Today we are going for a walk in the Capri farmhouse in Marseille. This farm is a project launched by the Cité de l’Agriculture, an urban laboratory committed to ecological and agroecological transition. It is in the 15th arrondissement, north of the city. On a plot of 8,500 m2, it is designed as a meeting place and sharing around agroecology. The objective is to create an urban farm allowing the relocation of the production of organic fruits and vegetables. Sales are organized there with prices set to be affordable for all. The Capri farm has several aspects such as promoting short circuits, meeting people, social diversity and the educational aspect. The place regularly hosts workshops in collaboration with schools and neighborhood associations.
