As part of the Lorraine challenge, the Bridge-club of Thionville is organizing its annual tournament this Sunday afternoon, September 10th. It will take place in the premises of the club, at 46A route de Metz. The best bridge players in the region are expected at this event. A hundred players should be present, grouped in teams of four, to try to win 1st place. Many prizes will be distributed, in addition to the first three scratch prizes. This will be an opportunity for all these athletes of the mind game to get back on their feet after the summer break and to restart the new season in the best conditions.

Association born in 1973

The Bridge-club of Thionville, association of local right created in 1973 and gathering more than 160 members, is affiliated with the French Federation of bridge. As its name suggests, it offers bridge activities aimed at beginners as well as advanced players and those who compete. The tournaments take place four times a week: twice in the evening on Mondays and Fridays at 8:30 p.m. and twice in the afternoon on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:30 p.m. A short tournament takes place twice a month on Wednesday afternoons in season. Monday afternoon is reserved for free games. The reception takes place in spacious, modern, air-conditioned premises with a bar where participants can quench their thirst before and after the tournaments. The club has a large private car park and is accessible to the disabled.
