North Maluku Police ChiefPolice Inspector General Midi Siswoko apologized for the 2022 Batara Polri 2 battalion acceptance case that happened to a farmer’s son named Sulastri.
North Maluku Regional Police said the case of a farmer’s child who was miscarried as a police candidate (Polwan) was due to incorrect data entry.
Midi stressed that the Professional and Security Section (Bidpropam) of the North Moluccas Regional Police will investigate a number of operators regarding cases of incorrect data entry.
“On behalf of the national police, especially the North Maluku Police, we apologize,” the regional police chief said on Friday (11/11) through Chief Public Relations Commissioner (Pol) Michael Irwan Thamsil.
“What is certain is that we offer our apologies to Sulastri’s extended family,” he said.
The North Maluku Regional Police spokesman also said his party would carry out an assessment because there was an error that should have been communicated since the start of the test.
“The error was in the wrong operator who entered it and they were checked by Propam,” he continued.
Meanwhile, Sulastri claimed to be in third place according to Pantukhir’s announcement on July 2, 2022. She has also passed all stages of selection of female police officers.
“So after that supervision by the police station I graduated with all the requirements. Up to the last call, I was declared approved”, said Sulastri at a certain point on Friday (11/11).
Sulastri has also started actively participating in rallies at the North Maluku police station. However, he was suddenly called up on grounds of exceeding the age limit in August 2022.
“But there was no confirmation from the HR what to do next, because I was not sent back to the Sula police but I was detained at the Ternate police,” he said.
Then he received a letter containing the replacement of prospective students for Diktuk Bintara Polri on November 1st. A day later, she received a letter notifying the trial.
“The letter came from the North Maluku Regional Police, not the National Police Headquarters,” he said.
Additionally, Sulastri admitted that she received a number of questions during the trial, such as about her father’s job.
“I replied to my father that he only works as a farmer, so what job do you have? Yes, work. If you have no job, that’s it,” he said.
Sulastri’s position was then replaced by a potential entrant under him.
