North Korea (North Korea) has again conducted a test firing of a missile or missile. At least, in this week North Korea reported to have carried out three missile tests which put neighboring countries on alert.
Recently, North Korea claimed to have successfully tested a ‘railway loaded missile system’ on Wednesday (15/9) local time. The missile system is claimed to be designed to ward off any force that threatens North Korea.
Reported Reuters, Thursday (16/9/2021), the North’s news agency, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) in its latest report claimed the missile launched from the train managed to fly as far as 800 kilometers before hitting targets in the ocean or off the east coast of North Korea.
South Korean and Japanese authorities reported Wednesday that they detected the launch of two ballistic missiles from North Korea, days after the communist regime test-fired a cruise missile that analysts thought could have nuclear capability.
The KCNA report said that the latest test was carried out by a rail-loaded missile regiment that had been planned since the beginning of this year. Photographs released by North Korea’s national media showed an olive-green missile launched into the air, leaving clouds of smoke and flames.
“The rail-loaded missile system serves as an efficient counter-attack tool capable of delivering a simultaneous blow to the threatening force,” said Pak Jong Chon, a North Korean Marshal and member of the Presidium of the Politburo of the Workers’ Party of Korea who oversaw the missile system’s tests. quoted by KCNA.
It appears that the missile was fired from the roof of a train parked on the tracks of a mountainous area. South Korea in its report said the North Korean ballistic missile was launched from a remote area in the Yangdok region of central North Korea.
It was reported by KCNA that there were plans to expand the rail-loaded missile regiment to a force the size of a brigade in the future, and to conduct exercises to gain ‘operational experience for actual warfare’. Pak stated that the North Korean military should prepare tactical plans to deploy the system in other areas.
