On the fifth day of the Hangzhou Asian Games, our team added gold medals in swimming, fencing, gymnastics, and e-sports.

Kim Han-sol, who performed a near-perfect performance until the landing, bowed to the referee and clenched his fist.

Kim Han-sol, who was the first to step up, perfectly performed a skill with a difficulty level of 6.0 and received 14.900 points.

China’s Jang Bo-heng, a competitor who felt the pressure of Kim Han-sol’s flawless performance, scored only 14.333 points, and Kim Han-sol succeeded in winning his second consecutive Asian Games title in the floor event.

“I was thinking of just trying to scare the players later, but it seemed like the Chinese player was trying to land more perfectly because I was good at it, but ended up making some mistakes….”

Taekwondo ‘signature’ Lee Da-bin unfortunately lost to a Chinese athlete in the finals of the over-67kg weight class, ending her three-game winning streak in the competition.

It was painful to allow a series of head and body attacks in the third round.

“Honestly, I had no desire to win three games in a row. I trained with only the goal of winning, and I think I was most disappointed that I couldn’t reach that goal.”

Men’s fencing saber, known as the ‘Appengers’, achieved the feat of winning three consecutive team events, and Korean swimming’s ‘golden generation’ Kim Woo-min and Baek In-cheol added two gold medals.

In e-sports, which was adopted as the first official event of this competition, 44-year-old Kim Kwan-woo, who participated in ‘Street Fighter 5’, won his first gold medal.

The women’s soccer team won 5-0 in the third group match against Hong Kong, with Mira Moon and Eun-joo Moon scoring multiple goals.

The women’s national team advanced to the quarterfinals by winning all three matches and faced North Korea in a ‘North-South confrontation’ on the way to the semifinals.

North Korea, which returned to international competitions after five years, won its first gold medal in the women’s shooting 10m running target team event, and artistic gymnast Ahn Chang-ok won two gold medals in the vault and double parallel bars.
