North Korea showed a closer relationship with Russia than China at the so-called ‘Victory Day’ event on the anniversary of the Armistice Agreement.
It was interpreted that North Korea was discussing an arms deal with Russia, which is at war with this, but the US government said that it is highly likely.

Saetbyeol, North Korea’s new drone that flies in Pyongyang.
It was the first weapon even North Koreans saw at the military parade, but Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu was the first to observe the new drone.
Prior to the military parade, Chairman Kim Jong-un guided Minister Shoigu to an arms exhibition.

″Comrade Kim Jong-un, together with Comrade Sergei Shoigu, looked around the new armed equipment.″
At the military parade, Minister Shoigu was introduced before the Chinese delegation, and a large portrait of President Putin was hung everywhere the Russian delegation went, and they were treated with great hospitality.
When Chairman Kim Jong-un showed close enough to hold four solo events with Minister Shoigu, interpretations emerged that North Korea and Russia were blatantly showing off military cooperation.
In response, the United States put forward a position that Russia appears to have visited North Korea to purchase weapons.
Secretary of State Tony Blincoln mentioned Secretary Shoigu, who visited North Korea, and said that Russia is desperately looking for weapons in North Korea and Iran.

″I don’t think Minister Shoigu is vacationing in North Korea. We see Russia desperately seeking support and weapons wherever possible to continue its offensive against Ukraine. Even in North Korea.”
In the midst of this, foreign media reported that Ukrainian soldiers were spotted using North Korean weapons believed to have been stolen from Russia.
Foreign media including Reuters reported that Ukrainian artillery units recently attacked Russian forces with North Korean rockets in a battleground in eastern Ukraine.
Foreign media reported that these North Korean weapons were confiscated from “friendly countries” before being delivered to Russian soldiers.
The United States has been condemning North Korea for supplying arms to Russia by sea, and North Korea and Russia have strongly denied this.
