“North Korean comrades who sent artillery shells”…Russian soldier refutes Russian government’s claim

Whenever there is a claim that North Korea provided weapons to Russia, which is at war with Ukraine, both the Russian and North Korean authorities have vehemently denied this.

A video has been released showing a Russian soldier fighting on the front line thanking North Korea for sending the artillery shells.

“Our friends have provided us with new ammunition. The ammunition has a longer range and is more accurate. Victory will be ours.″

This video was uploaded on the 12th to a Telegram channel identified as a Russian airborne unit.

The weapon is also introduced, saying, “Multiple rocket launcher extended-range shells kindly provided by North Korean comrades have arrived.”

So far, whenever North Korea-Russia arms trade circumstances are discovered, the Russian Kremlin’s position is that “it is all groundless.”

However, a Russian soldier actually refuted the Kremlin’s claim by filming a video from the front line expressing gratitude for North Korea’s weapons supply.

Not only Russia but also North Korea dismisses the suspicion of arms trade as “unfounded false information from the U.S.,” but our military has determined that more than 2,000 containers have been sent to Russia through Rajin Port by North Korea so far.

It is capable of sending more than 200,000 rounds of 122mm multiple rocket launchers, and more than 1 million rounds of 152mm shells.

″The South Korean and U.S. intelligence authorities are tracking and monitoring, and have shared an assessment that approximately 1 million rounds of North Korean artillery shells have been provided.″

The government said that President Yoon Seok-yeol held a meeting with leaders of the Asia-Pacific region on the occasion of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation meeting and emphasized that “illegal cooperation such as North Korea-Russia military cooperation is a serious threat to global security beyond the Korean Peninsula.”
