At a national military summit, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has announced that it will increase its nuclear capacity again, North Korean state news agency KCNA said on Sunday.
“The summit outlined new policies to further increase the country’s nuclear war deterrence and sharpen strategic forces,” said KCNA.
In 2018, Kim Jong-un said he wanted to completely denuclearize the country after meeting Trump, but it has not been discussed since. North Korea has also never stopped testing missiles.
The North Korean state news agency also released photos of Kim Jong-un at the summit. There was plenty of speculation about the health of the ‘Supreme Leader’ last month, after he had not been seen in public for weeks and was not attending an important North Korean holiday.
