North Korea U-23 Football Team: Strength, History, and Players

The strength of North Korea U-24 is very mysterious. Bola.com Not many traces of the team with the other name Chollima have been found in recent years.

North Korean football has completely changed since the COVID-19 pandemic. Previously, Chollima had become an Asian giant by qualifying for the 2010 World Cup.

In the last Asian Games in 2018 in Indonesia, North Korea U-23 advanced to the quarter-finals before being eliminated by the Uzbekistan National Team U-23 3-5 via penalty kicks after playing 1-1 for 120 minutes.

Transfermarkt notes that North Korea U-23 is handled by Ri Ui-yil, the 38-year-old coach who has coached Chollima in six matches since 2019.

The North Korea U-23 squad is filled with the majority of players who play in local competitions, aka the North Korean Premier Football League.

However, two players are recorded as having careers outside of North Korea. The two are Ryang Hyon-ju and Mun In-ju, who are in the lower caste of the Japanese League.
