North Korea to Launch “No.1 Military Intelligence Satellite” in June to Monitor US Military Activities

North Korea’s official KCNA news agency cited ruling party Central Military Commission Vice Chairman Ri Pyong-chol as saying that the “No.1 military intelligence satellite” “will be launched in June.”

KCNA said in a statement that this satellite, along with “various intelligence assets expected to be tested soon, is indispensable for tracking, observing (..) and dealing with the dangerous military activities of the United States and its vassal forces in advance in real time.”
