North Korea still fires missiles | ABC news

The South Korean army reported that the four rockets were launched Saturday morning in the direction of the Yellow Sea, west of the Korean peninsula.

The rockets flew about 130 kilometers at an altitude of 20 kilometers before hitting the water and the speed was five times the speed of light, according to the South Korean general staff.

The launches are the latest in a series of near-daily missile launches recently carried out in North Korea. In the past week alone, 25 rockets have been launched, including an ICBM.

The missile test is believed to be in part a response to military exercises that South Korean and US forces are currently conducting. The United States sent two B-1B bombers to the exercise, which took place on Saturday.

Vigilant Storm is an aggressive and provocative military exercise against North Korea, and the United States and South Korea could risk having to pay the cruellest price in history if they continue, Pyongyang said.
