North Korea starts rehearsals for big parade | Abroad

Rehearsals will start later than normal, probably due to the coronavirus or bad weather. Dictator Kim Jong-un’s regime could use the October 10 parade to show new weaponry to the world. The Stalinist-ruled and isolated North Korea is developing nuclear weapons despite international sanctions.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reiterated on Wednesday that the activities North Korea “continues to engage in is of serious concern.” The continuation of the nuclear program “is in blatant violation of United Nations Security Council resolutions.” The North Korean regime denounced the Nuclear Proliferation Treaty (NPT) in 2003 and started making nuclear weapons of its own.
