At a military parade in Pyongyang, North Korea showed new ballistic missiles on Thursday evening. According to state media, they can be fired from a submarine.
State news agency KCNA talked about “the world’s most powerful weapon”. Missile launchers and tanks were also displayed. Leader Kim Jong-un was dressed in a black leather jacket and a fur hat. As usual with events like this, he smiled and waved as he watched the parade.
In October, a parade was also held in the North Korean capital, where a huge long-range missile (ICBM) was shown.
