The General Staff of the North Korean People’s Army ordered artillery units near the border to be ready to fire.

The Korean Central News Agency reported last night on an order from the General Staff of the People’s Army “to set aside eight fully armed artillery brigades to fire.”

He explained the background of this step, saying, “The possibility of further provocations by drones originating from Korea is high, so it cannot be possible to escalate a military conflict.”

Workers’ Party Vice Minister Kim Yo-jong issued a separate statement soon after, calling on Korea to prepare measures to prevent a repeat.

Regarding the government’s position of emphasizing North Korea’s responsibility for drone strikes, he expressed dissatisfaction, saying, “It is a cruel and suicidal choice,” and ” The thugs in Seoul still cannot properly judge the situation. ”

A spokesman for the Ministry of Defense also issued a statement saying, “We believe that the Korean military forces participated in the provocation of the drone,” and said that if the drone appears again, it will be regarded as a declaration of war.

The Joint Chiefs of Staff said, “We are closely monitoring North Korea’s military movements and are fully prepared for the possibility of a major escalation. ”

He then criticized North Korea, saying, “They can’t prove where the drone came from and blame it on the South, but they are silent about the responsibility for sending the drone to our side around on 10 occasions. ”

They said they could not confirm any further progress in North Korea.

He warned that if North Korea provokes, it will be severely punished.

Previously, North Korea said that South Korea sent a drone to Pyongyang three times on the 3rd, 9th, and 10th to deliver anti-North Korean leaflets.

They said they blew it up.
