Pyongyang: After a long gap of three years, North Korea has allowed its citizens abroad to return to the country. Dictator Kim Jong Un ordered the country’s borders to be closed in early 2020 in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. At the same time, there is a one-week mandatory quarantine for those returning to the country.
The first international passenger flight to leave the country after three years landed in the Chinese capital Beijing last Tuesday. Air services with Russia will also resume soon.
