North Korea launches a missile after flying a military plane near South Korea

North Korea (North Korea) shoots another ballistic missile a short distance from the ocean east of its waters on Friday (14/10) early morning local time. The latest launch comes after Pyongyang deployed a series of military aircraft near the border South Korea (Carousel).

As reported Asia News ChannelOn Friday (10/14/2022), North Korea’s latest launch activity was reported by the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), who said a ballistic missile was launched on Friday (10/14) around 01:49 local time, from the Sunan region near the capital Pyongyang.

So far this year has been North Korea’s 41st ballistic missile launch.

The Japanese Coast Guard Authority, separately, also reported that North Korea launched what it suspected was a ballistic missile and that it had fallen into the ocean.

The latest launch came moments after at least 10 North Korean military planes were detected flying near the South Korean border.

The JCS said North Korean military aircraft were flying in an area 25 kilometers north of the military demarcation line on the border zone of the two Koreas and in an area 12 kilometers north of the Northern Limit Line – the de facto inter-Korean border in the Yellow Sea.

JCS said in a statement that the crash involving North Korean military aircraft occurred Thursday night (13/10) around 10:30 pm local time until Friday (14/10) morning around 00:20 local time.
