North Korea fired ballistic missiles again, according to neighboring countries | Abroad

North Korea launched three ballistic missiles into the sea east of the Korean peninsula on Saturday morning (local time). The South Korean military reports it.

The Japanese Coast Guard has reported that North Korea has launched a ballistic missile that has already ended up in the sea. This would have happened outside Japanese waters. There has also been talk of a “possible second ballistic missile” by the Coast Guard.

North Korea’s state news agency has not released any information on the missile launches. It reported on Saturday that leader Kim Jong-un chaired a party meeting on Friday to determine the country’s 2023 policy and strategy.

North Korea has already launched at least 70 ballistic missiles this year. Among them was an ICBM that the North Koreans say can reach the US mainland. The country continues with missile tests, despite sanctions from the international community.
