The US is to blame for the crisis in Ukraine, said a statement from Kim Yo-jong, the powerful sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
She accuses the US of crossing the line by sending tanks to Ukraine.
– What lurks in the background is the US’s evil intention to exercise hegemony by further expanding the proxy war and destroying Russia, she says.
North Korea will always stand united with Russia’s soldiers and population, she adds.
– The world would have been a brighter, safer and calmer place, had it not been for the United States, says Kim’s sister.
Earlier this week, US President Joe Biden promised to send 31 Abrams tanks to Ukraine. Several other Western countries have also promised to send tanks to the country.
