North Korea (North Korea) condemned the President’s speech South Korea (Carousel) Yoon Suk Yeol in forums United Nations (UN) warning of Pyongyang’s deepening military ties with Russia. North Korea called Yoon a ‘person with a brain like trash’ and a ‘diplomatic idiot’.
As reported Associated PressMonday (25/9/2023), Yoon in his speech at the UN General Assembly last week emphasized that South Korea ‘will not remain silent’ if North Korea and Russia agree to an arms deal that poses a threat to Seoul.
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un just visited Russia earlier this month to meet in person with the President Vladimir Putinand visited Moscow’s main military sites.
The visit raised international concerns about the possibility of Pyongyang receiving nuclear technology and advanced weapons in exchange for replenishing Russia’s supply of conventional weapons that is running out in the war with Ukraine.
“Traitor puppet Yoon Suk Yeol, even at the 78th UN General Assembly, viciously slandered relations between North Korea and Russia,” the North’s official news agency said. Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), in the latest statement.
Without responding to concerns about a possible North Korea-Russia arms deal, KCNA said it was “very normal” and a “legitimate right” for neighboring countries to maintain close relations with each other.
“It is self-evident that people with trash-like brains cannot understand the deep and great significance of the development of relations with friendly Russia,” KCNA said.
“No one in the world wants to listen to the hysteria of puppet traitor Yoon Suk Yeol, who only has a shameful bad reputation such as ‘political immaturity’, ‘diplomatic idiot’ and incompetent chief executive’,” KCNA said in its latest report.
