North Carolina Wildlife Commission Urges Residents to Stay Calm and Leave Danger Zone When Encountering Bears

The Wildlife Protection Commission advised residents in the area to remain calm and, if they see bears, to leave the danger zone quickly.

Representatives of the North Carolina Wildlife Conservation Commission (USA) have asked local residents to be careful after a bear came out of the ventilation hole of a house. The publication UPI reported about this.

The North Carolina Wildlife Conservation Commission posted a video on Facebook showing the animal emerging from the hole where it had apparently set up a winter shelter.
It is not yet known exactly where the video was shot.

“What may appear at first glance to be just a bunch of bushes, a hole or a bare tree may actually be a bear’s den. If it is disturbed by people, the animal may come out of the den, especially if there are cubs inside,” it says. in the post.

The commission advised residents to keep calm if they see bears, to leave the dangerous area quickly and not to disturb them until the end of the winter season.
