North: a young woman claims to have been abused by her father

A 26-year-old woman, living in a northern village, alleges that she was sexually assaulted by her father. The victim, who was admitted to the SSRN hospital in Pamplemousses, took a statement at the Terre-Rouge police station. According to the complainant, she visited her father on January 6. This, in order to recover his belongings following the latter’s request. She explained to investigators that she no longer lives with her father. Once there, she was allegedly forced to follow the suspect near a river at the threat of a knife and he allegedly abused her.
