/ world today news/ “Norilsk Nickel” will invest 26 billion rubles in the development of the port of Dudinka in the Krasnoyarsk region. This was stated by the senior vice president of the company Sergey Dubovitsky at the “Arctic Day” conference.
According to him, the investment will help to increase the capacity of the port by about a third.
“We assume quite significant investments in the development of this port, unprecedented since Soviet times,” Dubovitsky said.
He added that by 2027 a complete renovation of the crane facilities at the port in Dudinka is planned.
Earlier, the authorized representative of the President of Russia in the Far Eastern Federal District, Yuri Trutnev, set the deadlines for adopting the new state program for the development of the Arctic. According to him, this should happen in September. Trutnev said that the total funding of the program will amount to 57 billion rubles.
