Season 2 of The Walking Dead : Daryl Dixon, intitulée The Book of Carol is broadcast on Paramount+ and is marked by the big return of Melissa McBride in her role of Carol Peletier. On this occasion, Norman Reedus came to Paris to promote the series, and told Diverto about his very first scene with the actress, in The Walking Dead. It is in episode 5 of season 1 that the two characters meet for the first time, which the actor has not forgotten.

An immediate friendship
He confides in Diverto : “My first scene with Melissa McBride, in The Walking Dead, was when I handed her an ax so that she could kill her husband, when he was going to turn into a zombie. And what I was doing behind the camera, is that I dipped the ax in a bucket full of blood and guts And every time I gave her the weapon, it got worse and worse. And finally she took the ax without trembling, and I left. I said “Oh I like him!” and that’s when we became friends.”
The duo formed by Daryl and Carol is the most iconic in the entire universe The Walking Deadand 13 years after their very bloody first meeting, the two characters meet again in season 2 of The Walking Dead : Daryl Dixon, In France. In this apocalyptic world nothing can separate them, not even an ocean.
