Chief analyst Martin Enlund and chief strategist Andreas Steno Larsen in Nordea came in bad weather after they published a comment on Nordea’s website on Sunday, which has now been removed.
The comment goes a long way in declaring the covid vaccines ineffective and criticizes several countries’ authorities as shut down.
Nordea has now banned the two analysts from writing, according to Bloomberg.
– We have begun an internal review, and the two analysts will not write or publish during the internal review, the bank says, according to Bloomberg.
Nordea CEO Martin Persson has apologized for the memo and says that Nordea “will continue to publish credible analyzes and investigate with integrity”.
Enlund has worked at Nordea since 2014 as chief analyst. Steno Larsen has worked for more than 10 years at Nordea in forex and finally global chief strategist for macro, forex and rates since February 2020.
