Tough times mean that the cornerstone company at Moi in Rogaland is introducing a four-day week in the first quarter of next year, writes Dalane Newspaper.
The management and the trade unions have jointly arrived at this solution – mainly to avoid redundancies in a construction industry that is experiencing times of crisis.
– We still have a very solid position, but it goes without saying that when the construction of new homes has been roughly halved in the past year, it becomes demanding to defend a job five days a week, says managing director Trond Magnar Unhammer in Nordan to the newspaper.
In 2023, the group has a total of 12 factories, 32 sales offices, around 2,300 employees and a turnover of approximately NOK 4.7 billion.
