According to Blinken, the US presidential administration is seeking to put more pressure on Russia. This time, the sanctions will affect a company associated with Russia and two vessels.

“The White House intends to impose sanctions against Transadria Ltd, which is participating in the implementation of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline project, and two vessels associated with this project,” Blinken said.

He clarified that within the limits of the imposed restrictions, the vessel “Marlin” belonging to Transadria Ltd will be designated as the property subject to blocking. Blinken did not specify the name of the second ship included in the “black list”.
