It reports Danish TV 2. Now confirms Esbjerg the news.
Mørk has signed a two-year contract with the Danish club from the summer of 2022.
– I need to play in another league, and then there is a club with big ambitions. We agree on many things, and then I want to challenge myself to play on a team with many good players, says the current Vipers player to the Danish TV channel.
– I do not come to Esbjerg just because it is nice to live in Denmark. I come because I want to get better and because Esbjerg is a good team that can challenge the best teams in the Champions League. I come to Esbjerg because I want to win. There is no doubt about that, Mørk continues.
Mørk’s girlfriend, Jerry Tollbring, plays in Danish GOG – only a two hour drive from Esbjerg. TV 2’s handball expert Bent Svele believes this is a decisive reason for the club change.
– It is clear that it is sad for the REMA 1000 league that she leaves it because she is an attraction there, but there is something that draws her to Denmark. His girlfriend Jerry Tollbring plays in GOG, says Svele and adds that the Danish league is better than the Norwegian elite series:
– But the Vipers are better than the Danish teams. This is a scoop by Esbjerg and they are serious about their Champions League bet. The Danish team gets a Norwegian colony with Henny Ella Reistad, Kristine Breistøl, Marit Malm Frafjord, Marit Røsberg Jacobsen, Vilde Mortensen Ingstad and Sanna Solberg – and now Nora Mørk. It is good for the Norwegian national team.
Mørk has played in Denmark earlier in her career when she as a 16-year-old played for Aalborg in 2007.
Since his stay in Denmark, Mørk has played for Larvik, Györ, CSM Bucharest and most recently Vipers Kristiansand.
