After a year break, the musical vision “Nora and Viktors. For the Golden Duet 50 ”- on September 5 at 5 pm in VEF Culture Palace and on September 26 at 4 pm in Jelgava Culture House.
In the concert performance, created with the favor of Maestro Raimonds Pauls himself, the audience will be able to linger in their memories, enjoying the emotional story of Nora Bumbiere’s first steps on stage, creating a duo, collaborating with Raimonds Pauls and the two singers.
The performance will feature songs created by Raimonds Pauls with texts written by Jānis Peters, especially for this duo, as well as some songs by other composers.
Marija Bērziņa and Andris Ērglis, as well as Gundars Silakaktiņš, Laima Miltiņa, Elīna Čampere will perform on the stage as singers. Musical accompaniments will be played by Anatolijs Livča, Indriķis Veitners, Artūrs Kutepovs, Norberts Skraucis, Miķelis Vīte or Mareks Logins. Director – Gundars Silakaktiņš, choreographer – Inga Krasovska, costume designer – Jurate Silakaktina, lighting artist – Egīls Kupčs.
Viktors Lapčenoks:
Artists must be burning on stage. We were like that and I expect that from everyone else. The show is a success – everything goes very smoothly, sweetly and sincerely. I like it. I appreciate that Andris Ērglis has learned a lot from my singing style, he performs some places just like me. I really like it. “
Andris Ērglis: “It is a pleasure and an honor for me to get into the image of Viktor on stage and to check if I can do what Viktors Lapčenoks does in the vocal field. I believe that the songs written by Maestro Raimonds Pauls during this time are a huge musical peak and they will only become more valuable over time. ”
Marija Bērziņa: “Stars rarely form when there is such an opportunity to sing Nora’s songs. But our timbres are very similar, otherwise it would not be possible. ”
Viewers’ views on the show were expressed Ilze Jurkāne: “Nora and Vikotors were also very popular in the Exile community. We listened to their recordings and followed what they were doing here in Latvia. Nostalgia was at a high level in the show about the great duo and Nora was present.
