(nm) There were apparently several guardian angels at the scene of the accident: A 58-year-old driver caused an accident in Emstek on Emsteker Straße with 1.9 per mille in the blood (breath alcohol level). The woman drove her vehicle with 1.9 per mille in the blood into the oncoming traffic and collided with two other vehicles. In the first vehicle, a red Ford, two male occupants, 57 and 18 years old, are slightly injured in the collision. Another 54-year-old driver in the third car involved, a black Mercedes station wagon, was fortunately unharmed.
According to the police, this accident could have turned out worse if the person who had caused the accident had raced head-on into the oncoming traffic. Apparently there were several guardian angels for everyone involved. The police found a breath alcohol level of more than 1.9 per mille, and a blood sample was ordered.
