The Nonghyup announced on the 24th that the Agricultural Cooperative President Lee Seong-hee, who celebrated the 1st anniversary of his inauguration, is striving to innovate the distribution of agricultural and livestock products by strengthening the online delivery system.
On the 22nd, Chairman Lee visited the Seongnam Distribution Center to which the Digital Full Filment Center (DFC) system was applied for the first time in the Nonghyup online business and checked the digital transformation situation. DFC is a dedicated space separately prepared in existing offline stores to process online orders. The Nonghyup plans to expand the form of a store-type DFC that combines a sales center, exhibition hall, warehouse, and delivery center.
– In the future through DFC, when customers order products online, the staff moves them to the lifts and ceiling rails installed in the store and moves them to the sorting area. In the sorting area where the products arrive, the products are distributed and packed by order, and then delivered to vehicles by delivery area. Distribute and deliver to customers. The competitiveness of Hanaro Mart’s online delivery service is further strengthened.
Chairman Lee Seong-hee said, “DFC is an online store delivery system optimized for non-face-to-face consumption that has increased since Corona 19. We will successfully establish DFC at the Seongnam Distribution Center to create a major change in the distribution of agricultural and livestock products where farmers and consumers laugh together.”
