Piano Giovani is a call dedicated to the start-up of new businesses under 35. An initiative, with a financial endowment of 200 thousand euros, of the Chamber of Commerce of Ferrara and Ravenna. It is, as happens with many non-repayable loans, a benefit that aims to fight unemployment youth by encouraging self-entrepreneurship. Youth Plan: who is it aimed at?
The Youth Plan announcement has new businesses under 35 as beneficiaries. Now, if there is no doubt about the age limit, let’s see what is meant by “new business” and what are the other requirements that must be met:
- Be registered with Company Register starting from 1 January 2024;
- Be one Micro, Small or Medium Enterprise:
- Have registered and/or operational headquarters in the territorial district of the Chamber of Commerce of Ferrara Ravenna;
- Be up to date with your payment annual chamber fee and with the payment of social security and welfare contributions;
- Don’t be a supplier of services of the Ferrara Ravenna Chamber of Commerce.
Youth Plan: details of the contribution
But how much can you get thanks to Piano Giovani? The amount of the contribution is calculated as 60% of the total amount of expenses incurred, up to a maximum of 4 thousand euros. In any case, the amount of eligible expenses cannot be less than 3 thousand euros. Youth Plan provides for a further prize of 250 euros in the event that women-owned businesses are created.
What the Youth Plan finances
The eligible expenses of the Youth Plan call are many:
- Notary fees incurred for the establishment or transfer of the business;
- Initial quotas of a possible contract franchising (no more than 30% of the total investment);
- Machineryequipment, softwareinstruments, furnishings and removable structures;
- Site web;
- Market research;
- Consultations e specialist services;
- Total elimination of interest rates relating to private financing granted to start up the business.
Youth Plan: applications and deadlines
Finally, applications to participate in the Youth Plan can be submitted starting from 10:00 on 22 October 2024 and until March 14, 2025 at 12:00. More information on the benefit is available on website of the proposing Chamber of Commerce.
