NEW YORKThe Governor of New York, Kathy Hochul, signed this Sunday, the day the LGTBQ+ Pride parade is celebrated in the Big Apple, the Gender Inclusive Voting Law that allows people who do not identify with a binary gender to run for political office.

The legislation requires political parties to change their rules to allow people who do not identify as female or male to be elected to party office.
