[ 매드타임스 최영호 기자] The nominations for the 75th Emmy Awards have been announced. Since 1997, the Emmy Awards have selected and awarded Best TV Commercials. This year, seven TV commercials were selected as nominations. The winning entries will be announced in September.
Apple received four nominations, including The Greatest and RIP Leon, which won awards at Cannes Lions, One Show, and D&AD. By the way, Apple receives several Emmy nominations every year, but it hasn’t won since 2014.
The Farmer’s Dog, a direct-to-consumer pet food brand, was nominated for its 2023 Super Bowl ad for “Forever.” The ad was acclaimed as one of the best gaming ads of the year, and scored the highest on the USA Today Ad Meter.
Dove was nominated for “The Cost of Beauty,” which follows the journey of a teenage girl whose life is threatened by an eating disorder triggered by the harmful effects of social media.
Squarespace was nominated for its 2023 Super Bowl commercial, The Singularity, which features Adam Driver entering a different world after realizing that Squarespace is a website that makes websites.
