Which Styrians impressed you this year – through sporting achievements, cultural projects or economic successes? The Kleine Zeitung wants to once again bring deserving people from your region to the forefront and honor them as “Heads of the Year 2024”.
To do this, we need your support, dear readers: let us know who you think deserves the award most. Who should definitely be on the ballot in the election for the “heads”?

Starting today, upload your suggestions to our website or send suggestions by post to the regional editorial office of the Kleine Zeitung in your district. Deadline: November 3rd. From all the nominations, the editorial team of the Kleine Zeitung selects five personalities in each of the four regions of Upper Styria, Graz & Graz-surroundings, East-Southeast Styria and West-Southwest Styria in the categories of volunteering & social commitment, entertainment, culture, business and research , sports, newcomers and hosts compete. In total, there will be 140 exciting personalities to choose from in the four regions, each with seven categories.
You decide who will ultimately be honored with the “Head of the Year 2024” award: From November 10th you can vote – either online on our homepage or on paper. To do this, we print the ballot paper several times in your regional edition of the Kleine Zeitung. You have the opportunity to vote for your favorites until December 22nd.
Our editors then count the votes received. Whoever won the race for the “Heads of the Year 2024” will be announced at a celebratory gala at the Styria Media Center in Graz at the beginning of next year.
