Nokia Plans to Use Huawei’s HarmonyOS Operating System

Suara.com – Nokia reportedly preparing a new phone that uses the operating system HarmonyOS artificial Huawei. It is said that the next phones to arrive are the Nokia X60 and X60 Pro.

Quotes Gizchina, Friday (2/7/2021), this Nokia X60 series will use HarmonyOS made by Huawei. There’s also a main camera with a 200 MP sensor, a curved screen, and a massive 6,000mAh battery.

The 200MP camera will be a big change in the smartphone industry. Because currently the phone with the highest sensor is still at 108MP.

It is believed that Nokia is trying to provide a big challenge to its competitors through smartphones that are included in this flagship category. Unfortunately there is no information regarding the processor used, but it is certain that the chipset will support 5G internet.

This rumor can be said to be quite surprising because Nokia is not a Chinese company. But this does not rule out the possibility that HMD Global as the owner of the license to use operating systems from other companies such as Huawei.

If this report is true, then the Nokia X60 series will be the first non-Huawei smartphone to use the operating system. This is also a new opportunity for Huawei to encourage more brands to adopt HarmonyOS.

Previously Nokia also used the Windows OS operating system as a replacement for Android a few years ago. After Windows OS was declared a failure, Nokia smartphones then disappeared from the market.

Now Nokia is back with HMD Global and once again using Android. The use of HarmonyOS will give its own color to Nokia.
