A Nokia launched this Monday (26) the Nokia XR20, the brand’s new cell phone with “indestructible” reputation. The entry-level smartphone was the target of numerous rumors in recent months and was even described by Nokia as a cell phone that would never “need a protective cover”.
Equipped with the Snapdragon 480 processor, the XR20 will be sold in two versions, one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and the other with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal space. Both have support for MicroSD card.
The camera suite features a 48 MP main, 13 MP ultra wide and 8 MP front lens. The battery is 4,630 mAh and the wireless charger is 15W, or 18W wired. The model also offers Android 11 and connectivity support. 5G.

With a 6.67-inch Full HD+ screen (2400 x 1080p), the cell phone has Gorilla Glass Victus, which, according to the company, is the most resistant glass on the market today. That’s because the cell phone was developed to withstand extreme conditions. The Nokia XR20 withstands drops of up to 1m80 (MIL-STD 810H certification) and can withstand up to an hour underwater (IP68).

To prove the smartphone’s resistance, the brand invited Brazilian player Roberto Carlos and freestyler Lisa Zimouche to the cell phone launch campaign. The two performed several tests on the cell phone, dipping it in ice water and dropping the model onto the concrete floor.
