Nokia C12 sells for HK$888: affordable IP52 waterproof phone

In recent years, Nokia has focused on the low- and mid-priced mobile phone market. In January 2023, it has announced a new affordable mobile phone C12 in Europe, which sells for about 105 euros, equivalent to HK$888.

Nokia C12 uses a 6.3″ HD+ resolution screen. The biggest selling point of the fuselage is that it has obtained IP52 waterproof certification, which can effectively prevent water droplets from penetrating into the fuselage. The inside of the machine uses Unisoc SC9863A1 SoC produced by 28nm process, 2GB RAM, 64GB storage space, and 5 million pixels Front camera, 8-megapixel main camera and 3000mAh battery. Since the hardware specifications are only considered entry-level, the Nokia C12 will only run the Android Go system with fewer functions.

Nokia C12, like other Nokia phones, provides system security updates valid for two years, but it is more secure than entry-level phones of many brands.
