Nokia C12 Launches, Android Go Phone Price Rp. 1 Million Pages all

KOMPAS.com – HMD Global as a Nokia licensee, launched its newest cellphone from the C-series family, namely the Nokia C21. This device is the successor to the Nokia C10, which was launched in April 2021.

Nevertheless, the device comes with a smaller design than its predecessor. Nokia C12 comes with a body size of 160.6 mm (height) x 74.3 mm (width) x 8.75 mm (thickness) and weighs 177.4 grams. With that body size, the device has a 6.3-inch wide screen.

Unlike the Nokia C10 or C31 which comes with a larger size. For example, the Nokia C10 has a body of 169.99 mm (height) x 77.9 mm (width) x 8.8 mm (thickness) with a weight of 191 grams and a 6.5-inch wide screen. Meanwhile, the screen that carries the Nokia C31 is 6.75 inches wide.

Despite its smaller size, Nokia claims that the body of the Nokia C12 is durable because it is made of polycarbonate material, and the screen is covered with protective glass, the type and brand of which are not stated.

The Nokia C12 carries a 6.3-inch LCD panel screen that offers HD Plus resolution. As already mentioned, the screen is covered with protective glass which is not named by brand and type, has an aspect ratio of 20: 9, and is decorated with waterdrop type screen bangs (water drop).

The camera configuration is front camera (selfie) 5 MP and 8 MP rear camera. The shooting features include night mode, portrait, HDR technology automatically, and time lapse.

Nokia C21 powered chipset Unisoc 9863A1 28nm fabrication, which has eight cores divided into two, namely four Cortex-A55 CPU cores clock 1.6 GHz and four Cortex-A55 CPU cores clockspeed 1.2 GHz. The reliable graphics processor is PowerVR IMG 8322.

Chipset combined with 2GB of RAM and storage media (storage) of 64GB. RAM capacity can be “expanded” using the virtual RAM feature up to 2 GB. So, the RAM you have can be expanded up to 4 GB.

However, expanding the storage capacity cannot be done, because the Nokia C12 is not equipped with a microSD slot.

The operating system that the Nokia C12 runs is Android 12 Go Edition. Meanwhile, in terms of power resistance, the device is supported by a 3,000mAH capacity battery with a power output of 5 watts.

The device battery can also be removed, equipped with a power saving feature (Battery Saving), and is claimed to last all day.

Other supporting features are Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-FI 802.11 b/g/n, 4G network, micro-USB for charging slot, speaker, microphonehas bagged IP52 certification (dust and splash resistance), and two years of security system updates.

The Nokia C12 comes in three colors, namely Charcoal, Dark Cyan and Light Mint. The price tag starts at 120 euros or around Rp. 1.96 million (exchange rate of Rp. 16,335) with the 2/64GB RAM/storage variant.

For now, the new device was introduced in Germany and Austria. Not yet known when the mobile phone made by Nokia will be launched in other markets.
