Whether it’s the simplest possible phone for grandma, or the most offline device possible for the internet-saturated Gen Z, it’s always good to have more colors to choose from. The simple clamshell Nokia 2660 Flip with a button keyboard has been on the market for more than a year, and in principle there is no need to replace it with a new model. But for revival, the manufacturer HMD Global adds two new colors – pink and green. The price of the phone does not change and remains at 1690 CZK.

The phone is an interesting alternative for those who want to take a break from modern technology at least for a while or appreciate a secondary phone with a battery life of many days. The older generation of users will like the large buttons and spacious display. The manufacturer confirms that interest in “dumb” clamshell phones has doubled year-on-year and expects further growth in 2023.
The original Nokia 2660, then without the attribute “Flip”, was launched in 2007. 15 years later, the Nokia manufacturer decided to revive one of the key models in the history of the Finnish brand and last year introduced the Nokia 2660 Flip model. Different colors were sold on different markets, for example blue, but only the black variant went on sale here. This is complemented by two other colors presented in the Czech Republic today.

Among other things, the phone stands out (compared to push-button models) with a large 2.8″ non-touch display, compatibility with hearing aids, a long battery life and large mechanical buttons. The Nokia 2660 Flip will also offer a dedicated emergency button that enables quick contact with loved ones. Up to five contacts can be contacted in the event of an unexpected event. There is also the legendary Snake game and LTE support.
