On Saturday (September 25th) around 2 a.m., several residents from the area of ​​the Heimstättensiedlung reported to the police and reported that their night’s rest was disturbed by party noise. When checking the location described, the source of the noise was quickly located. Several hundred people, equipped with a music system, met to celebrate in the wooded area of ​​the extended Ödenburger Straße. Upon their arrival, the officials declared the event over and sent the participants home. The instructions were followed. Nevertheless, the mission ended with the initiation of five preliminary investigations on suspicion of damage to property and the destruction of important work equipment.

When the officers returned to their vehicles, they found that five patrol cars were severely damaged. The damage included a smashed front and rear window, two worn outside mirrors, a punctured tire and scratched paintwork. The damage caused amounts to a four-figure sum according to initial cautious estimates.
