NOI Techpark: New start-ups and companies included

Bolzano – The new year started with new business ideas in the NOI Techpark in Bolzano. Three companies and six start-ups have been admitted to the innovation district and are developing their R&D projects, products and services there in a network of research institutions, universities and like-minded entrepreneurs and founders. A total of 89 private companies currently have a seat in the NOI.

One of the new additions is the start-up Reveonwhich after a successful four month Pre-Incubation Programme is now working on the prototype of his product idea in the start-up incubator: an all-electric off-road motorcycle for top-class sport and road traffic. The electrification of mobility is one of the driving topics in this sector. What has long since developed into a strong-selling alternative for cars is still a dream of the future for motorcycles. The founders of Reveon want to compose the melody for it. With an innovative battery concept in connection with intelligent software solutions and app control that make your motorcycle unique.

A healthy, eco-friendly diet has evolved The Garum Project prescribed. The start-up wants to strengthen the cooperation with research actors and laboratories in the NOI and, with the help of scientific know-how, use fermentation to produce a liquid, nutrient-rich seasoning from by-products of food processing, which can be used as a flavoring or as a substitute for salt and bouillon.

Symphony Prime is an association of highly specialized technology companies working on the development of a new, open business model. This model relies on networking between companies in the sense of a Open Innovation and thus fits seamlessly into the main theme of the NOI Techpark: competitiveness thanks to exchange and interdisciplinary cooperation.

In addition to the three mentioned, the following companies are now part of the NOI: CarX, Emotitech, Eternum Technology, PwC Business Services, Santelmo und Sirius Game. The next admissions committee for companies and start-ups is scheduled for May.

The NOI Techpark is growing

“NOI is growing, not only spatially – the NOI Techpark in Bruneck will open in May, the new faculty for engineering at unibz and two expansion modules for private companies and laboratories in the coming year – but above all in innovative companies, future-oriented business ideas and highly qualified specialists. We are pleased about this development and it shows that we are increasingly becoming the focal point for innovation drivers in South Tyrol,” says Helga Thaler, President of NOI AG.
