Noerr advises the Schwarz Group for the acquisition of Erfurter Teigwaren GmbH

10.11.2022

With a team led by Dr. Maurice Séché he assisted the Schwarz Group in the acquisition of Erfurter Teigwaren GmbH (ETW) by Schwarz Production Foundation & Co. KG (Schwarz Production). The sellers are the investment companies Lampe Privatinvest and QVM Privatkapital.

With ETW, Schwarz Production takes over the oldest pasta producer in Germany. In the Erfurt plant, ETW produces around 100,000 tons of pasta per year with 170 employees.

The objective of the acquisition is to reliably supply the Schwarz Group trading companies with high-quality pasta products from our own production. Schwarz Production will then permanently strengthen the headquarters with the acquisition, whereby the existing and long-standing successful management team will be retained and will contribute its experience to the further development of the company.

Schwarz Production is the umbrella brand of the Schwarz Group manufacturing companies. A total of around 5,000 employees at Schwarz manufacturing companies produce high-quality food and sustainable packaging for retail companies Lidl and Kaufland.
