Noctua has introduced two branded screwdrivers for its fans and computer enthusiasts: Noctua NM-SD2 with Philips PH2 Phillips tip and Noctua NM-SD1 with six-pointed star Torx T20 tip. Among other things, these screwdrivers are ideal for installing Noctua brand coolers: the NM-SD2 model is for models with SecuFirm and SecuFirm2 mounts, and the NM-SD1 is for SecuFirm2 +.
Both screwdrivers come with a fairly long 150mm shaft with a magnetic tip. Convenient handles will make the process of interacting with the tool more comfortable. Therefore, the manufacturer launches simple and affordable screwdrivers on the market, which are useful for mounting coolers or performing other tasks when assembling a PC.
Note that the screwdrivers presented by Noctua visually resemble the well-known screwdrivers of the German company Wera Tools. However, the presented novelties are cheaper, and their warranty period is shorter. This could indicate that the NM-SD1 and NM-SD2 are inspired by Wera Tools and not manufactured by a German company.
The Noctua NM-SD1 and Noctua NM-SD2 screwdrivers have appeared for sale on the Amazon platform and in company stores. In the US, each screwdriver costs about $10.
