Survey method
The seventh edition of the list of best brands remains faithful to its predecessors in its technical development. Last summer, research institute Statista launched an in-depth online survey of 20,000 consumers to find out how satisfied they were with the services provided in their favorite stores. They were then asked to rate, on a scale from 0 to 10, the brands visited in the last three years according to three criteria: the attentiveness of the sales staff, their level of expertise and the willingness to recommend the brand to loved ones.
In the end, nearly 1,750 companies received enough recommendations to calculate a meaningful score, but only the 505 best-rated are featured in our dossier. You will discover a top2 when the sector studied included less than 10 brands, a top3 up to less than 20, and finally a top5 over 20 names.
The marks in the right column are out of 10. They reflect the satisfaction of the people interviewed with regard to the quality of the service. The rank also takes into account the following decimals.
