Nocera Inferiore, buying and selling fake watches: 700 thousand euros seized

The financiers of the provincial command of Salernoon behalf of the Public Prosecutor’s Office Lower Nocerahave executed a precautionary seizure order for an amount equal to 700 thousand euros issued by the investigating judge of the Nocera court against three defendants, alleged managers of a business buying and selling fake watches. The investigation originates from a previous seizure of counterfeit watches, carried out in March 2023 at a shipping point in the Agro Sarnese-Nocerino area.

The subsequent investigative investigations carried out by the Fiamme Gialle of the Salerno Group, under the direction of the Nocera Inferiore Public Prosecutor’s Office, have allowed us to reveal the involvement of two Service Points operating in the logistics sector and three individuals who, in competition with each other, managed from January 2020 to March 2023 a thriving business of buying and selling luxury watches and other products bearing counterfeit brands for a total value of approximately 700 thousand euros, through 2,200 shipments made throughout the national territory relating to various luxury brands, includingRolex and Vacheron Constantin. The Prosecutor’s Office requested and obtained from the investigating judge a precautionary seizure order for an amount equal to the value of the transactions carried out, or approximately 700 thousand euros.
