CANCUN, Q. ROO on October 19.- Knowing that barely 23% of the 2024-25 Group One Tournament in the Third Professional Division League (TDP) has passed, the Boston Cancún Futbol Club continues to be the team that sets the pace of the competition, thanks to his victory this Saturday morning on the synthetic pitch of the “High Performance Center” (CEDAR), located on one side of Luis Donaldo Colosio Boulevard, by beating the Pampaneros de Champotón by a score of 3-1.

This success has allowed the pupils of Professor Edgar Iván Lievano Flores to reach five in the competition, of which two have been as hosts, without leaving aside that despite the goal received, those of Boston FC are still the least punished defense, with just three scores against.

After the initial whistle by the central referee, Fernando García, both teams tried to gain possession of the ball, with the visitors being the ones who succeeded, since strangely, they were the ones who adapted faster to the weather conditions that were presented with the rain and consequently the carpet wet.

These difficulties took their toll on the locals, who in the 17th minute went down 0-1 on the scoreboard, due to an own goal committed by Christopher Vázquez; but from the 30th minute onwards, the people of Cancun became owners of the round.

That possession of the ball paid dividends for Boston FC in the 36th minute, when Juan Marín made it 1-1, with a shot that after hitting the post, ended up going into the back of the goal defended by Miguel Díaz.

While at the start of the second half, Juan Marín himself scored 2-1 for the -Iguanitas- at minute 46 ‘, through an individual play on the left side; while the final 3-1 for the Bostonians was the work of Aldo Solano at 70 minutes.

After this result, the Bostonians reached 17 units out of a possible 18, so they have a productivity of 94%; while the Pampaneros of Champotón have only achieved 17% of the possible units, remaining stuck at three.

On day seven of the 2024-25 Group One Tournament in the TDP League, the Boston Cancún Futbol Club will stay in its city, to visit Atlético Quintanarroense on the sports field on Saturday, October 26, in an unprecedented state duel “Viany”.
